Welcome to the world of Exigo, where 3 factions battle for dominance; the Empire Guards, the Beast Tribes, and the Fallen Nexus. Will you join their battle for dominance too? Go forth, join your army and make opposite factions your the king!

Factions, deeper explanation

Empire Guards:
The Empire consists of Humans, Elves, and Gnomes. The Empire is governed by the Council of Mages, an organization of the most powerful wizards of Noran. 40 years ago, they were led by the most powerful wizard ever walk on Exigo, Ruannon Flamebringer. He helped much to drove the Beasts back to their territories. But this past months, he died. The position of the High Mage of the Council of Mages, was given to a young lad, Alric Do Rei, will he do what Ruannon did long ago?


Beast Tribes:
The Beasts consist of the gray creatures call Beasts (), Trolls, Ogres, Goblins, Lizardmens, and many wild creatures. They are led by Tyron Gral and his son Dragga. 40 years ago, they tried to conquer Noran, but they have failed, and they are driven back to the Howling Plains, but now, they had come for revenge, not for conquering, but devastating.....


Fallen Nexus
The Fallen is consists of Giant Insects, Deep Elves, some "alien to Exigo" creatures. They're main territory is Exigo's underground. They are led by the Ageless Ancients and the Dark Dreamer. Their main objective is retrieve the Heart of a Void, a stone said that it would give the wielder enormous power that can turn a world into a void, that is located at the Council of Mages' Obsidian tower (built by Ruannon). The expedition is led by Lord Keran.

Alric Do Rei

He is a young student of the Obsidian Tower. His master dies just before the Beasts' invasion begins, so Alric has no other choice but to take his master's place as High Lord of the Council of Mages, an organization of powerful wizards who govern Noran.
It seems that only his visions and knowledge of spells can save the Empire from total annihilation and he's also often called "Chaosbringer", because of his "defence" of Castle Margoth, which ended up destroying not just most of the armies of the Beast Invaders, but the castle itself as well.
He has the habit of surviving the most dangerous situations with ease, an ability which greatly angers his enemies, particularly his nemesis, Keran Kessertin.

Dunehelm Bellangare

He's in command of Noran's garrison and he's the Lord of Castle Margoth, as well as Alric's best friend and disciple. He is very brave as he faces every kind of hideous creatures without any fear, and he never loses his mind.

Lady Tierna

Arch-Ranger of the elves. She is one of Alric's friends.

Lord Keran Kessertin

The leader chanter of the Fallen Swarms, who obeys the Ageless Ones, the leader of the Fallen. His quest is to seize the Heart of the Void, an artifact that was created by the Dark Dreamer in order to melt this world into their own.

Belloq

The leader of the Holy Legion, which is the most effective and well-equipped part of the Empire's army. He is jealous, vain and confident, as he keeps himself the most heroic army leader. He is such descended that he calls underworld demons into arms for his crusade's succession.

Vangarath

Formerly a lord of one of the Noran's counties, he rebels against the council and captures Alric. Alric is then freed by Dunehelm Bellangre and Lady Tierna.
Defeated, it is revealed that he is one of the Fallens' elite chanters, though he manages to escape.

Princess Domina

Princess of the Dark Elves, a society of elves, banished under the ground. They evolved to match their new environment. They have light, pale skin and have turned to dark magics, particularly Necromancy. Decades after their banishment, Domina is a young princess of the Dark Elves and is at war with Lord Shaiton, who seeks to seize the Throne from her.

Tyron Gral

The master chieftain of the Beast. He keeps himself a messiah as he receives visionic messages from the Ancient Spirits. He is cruel and harsh, even with his own people. There is no other reason for his life than annihilating the humans and the elves, no matter what it costs. He thinks that the existence of the Fallen is just a myth, so he doesn't deal with it.

Dragga

Tyron's son, who is loyal to his father at first, but as he faces the threatening danger of the Fallen that Tyron doesn't deal with, he turns against him.

Sseeth

The chieftain of the lizardmen, the old allies of the Beast. He is wise and he supports Dragga's will instead of Tyron.

Tiamorg

A three-headed dragon, that is hunted by Tyron Gral for.... its own good...

*Wermona => Capital of Noran, its is were the Obsidian Tower of Council of Mages is located
*Yarkan => Its a ruins. It is where the largest gang of bandits, Redneck Gang, is located.
*Vangarath Tower => It is where Vangarath's rebels are located.
*Denfort => Center of Vangarath's operations
*Antaras => an Empire controlled continent. It helps Noran in time of need.
*Margoth => A city that is in charge of Noran's borders.
*Dragonfire Fields => A wasteland. Many battles where held here.
*Blackmoor => A encampment of the Beasts, Dragga's camp.
*Teonia => Continent of the elves.
*Raven's Nest => Large Eagles are captured here by Elven Valkyries for mounts.
*Mordanwood => a mysterious wood, Phoenixes woods
*Howling Plains => A wasteland no non-Beasts wandered.
*Zakkurah => Main city of the Beasts
*Undergrounds of Exigo => Main Lair of the Fallen.

Lord Arqis

Lord Arqis is one of the knights of Margoth. He's mentor was Dunehelm. He wields a sword and shield and his trusted steed named "Honor". He is an orphan since child. He was assigned to retrieve Ruannon's remains on Teonia. Will he survive?


Kozzak the Avenger
(Beast - Ogre)
45 years old
Kozzak has a bandage over his right eye, because he lost that eye during the battle. He is very tall, and very muscled. Good in tactics, yet strong in battle. He is wearing huge sword on his back, and three knives on his right leg, as backup if he lost his sword.


Sset
(Beast - Lizardmen)
13 years old
Sset is a strange lizardman, he is very young, but posesses great magics and power although he somtimes has visions of things that he holds dear... they hurt him and he writhes in pain, he somtimes has magical fits as well, when his power bubbles up and it causes him great pain. he is not trained well to use his vast power, and can not control it very well, he was raised to hate magic, and when he found he was magical, he tried to kill himself, he only succeeded in buring down his farm and killing his own family. he hates himself. now some he is being used by beasts as a weapon. He wants nothing other thn to be a peaceful farmer, with no magics of any kind... and he hates war... but he must fight, because the beasts force it upon him...

One day, Arqis was sleeping under a tree when, Dunehelm arrives......
"Arqis!, you naughty little lad, I already searched Margoth for you!" Said Dunehelm
"So, what's the commission sir?" replied Arqis
"Ready for Troll slaying again? Same rules, the most kills win the game, the loser will take the consequences" Said Dunehelm
"Consider I won.." replied Arqis

The two got their steeds and traveled into Western Forests, were a uncountable Trolls live. Arqis slashed Trolls with his sword while Dunehelm crushed the trolls head with his flail. After that, Arqis won, with 21 kill while Dunehelm only has 19 kills.

"Oh man, what a fortune I have...(sigh)" Dunehelm braggs.
"So about the consequences, wash Honor!" Arqis ordered
"Yeah whatever, remember this lad, I'll soon win!" Dunehelm replied

Not far away from there, in small foggy forest, there was a huge ogre living. It's name was Kozzak, and he was once a legendary Ogre Warchief. "Damned dogs, always burning my village eh'?" said Kozzak while he was cleaning his shoes of the dirt. "I guess I need some money, I'll have to go around Exigo and search for someone to hire me, I want to live a peacefully life. No more battles and wars, because I've got one hard scar on my face thanks to that day, day when my brothers died on my hands", said Kozzak as he finished cleaning his shoes. "Well, it's time to go..." he mumbled and stood up, then started to walk...

After Dunehelm bathed Honor, he returned home, leaving Arqis alone on his house.
"Nothing to do.. eh? I'll just got sleep and rest." Arqis said

While sleeping, he got a dream,

On his dream, he saw many insectoids, and some bizarre creatures undergound. Then there was this ugly guy who walked and acted like the leader and the guy shouted
"The time is ours, the 3 Seals are broken!, let's charged to Ruannon's Tower and get the Heart of the Void. When the stone is in my hand, we will conquer... Exigo..."

Then Arqis woked up
"Arqis, its just a dream, dreams wont happen." Arqis said

As he was walking, Kozzak saw many strange and ugly creatures. With huge sword on his back, iron hamlet on his head and giant armor on his chest and shoulder, he was walking slowly trough the foggy forest. He was the strongest creature in that forest, because others were just small deers, chickens and pigs. Here and there, few Harpy's fled over the forest, just to check out that region, but luckily they haven't seen Kozzak. "I hate the feeling that I have only one eye, because I can't see everything, and my sight seems blurry..." said Kozzak as he was slowly walking trough the foggy forest. Suddenly out of nowhere, arrow was flying towards Kozzak's head, but he somehow dodged it. "Show yourself, coward!" yelled Kozzak as he was looking at few shrubs, whose seemed to hide the attacker...
"Arrow stoooooorm!!" yelled that hard elven voice.
Suddenly out of nowhere, sky was filled by arrows, who were flying towards Kozzak. Since he had strength of a monster, he picked up two nearby trees, and putted them together, making one huge shield of them. He raised his arms, holding that huge mix of two trees, and arrows began to fall on the tree, one by one...
"Now, it's time!" that elven voice yelled again.
While Kozzak was holding those trees, he couldn't defend himself on ground combat. Because of that, three elven rangers, with huge swords charged at him, pushing him back and kicking his legs, so he could fell on the ground. One ranger got arrow in his back, and fell on the ground, and other had much worse fate than the first one, because he got kicked by Kozzak. By kicking him, Kozzak smashed his back, neck and shoulder. Third ranger jumped backwards, and began drawing his special sword, while looking at Kozzak with anger...

the next day....
Dunehelm and Arqis was sitting enjoying eatign, when a soldier barge in...
"Sir, sorry to disturb you two, but the patrols Beast activities in the Dragonfire Border, and I think they will attack in any second!" the soldier said
"Okay, alarm the patrol guards, order them to man their garrisons. Arqis let's go." Dunehelm said
"Uhh...okay" Arqis lazily answered

Then after 17 minutes of journey to Dragonfire Border, the immediately man their garrisons.

"We warn you Beast intruders, get back to your damned plains or you will regret this day!"
shouted Dunehelm
"Fuls, teh Bests hab cam bak tu detroy yu punny litel retches!" shouted by a beast
"Eh? I promise, you'll regret this day!" replied by Dunehelm
"Nebar a best retrit batel!"

Then the Beast's trolls started to throw boulders (they are like catapults ).
"Crossbowmans! Man your garrison, and fire on any non-Human! Soldiers, guard the stairs!" Dunehelm ordered.

The two groups started to spill blood from each other. When...
"Soldier, where is Arqis!" Dunehelm said
"Sir, he said he'll just go and wander" the soldier replied
"That little lad is a pain in my butt, sigh" Dunehelm said

After hours of fighting, Dunehelm's soldiers started to be outnumbered than the Beasts
"Sir, we can't hold it, all of the pikemen died, and we can't hold out the Ogres!" a solder reported
"This is what I don't li...."Dunehelm when something happened
"Sir Dunehelm! its Sir Arqis! He is slaying the Beasts down below the walls!" a soldier reported
"Where did that lad got Courage? sigh..." Dunehelm answered

"Die succumbed beasts! My steel shall taste your flesh!" Arqis warcryed
Arqis slewed many Beasts quickly. Then the Beasts, seeing outnumbered, flew like cowards.
Then Dunehelm quickly greeted Arqis..

"What the heck!? Where did you get that courage to slay those wild Beasts?" said Dunehelm
"Eh? What really happened?" replied Arqis
"(facepalm) Forgot this day, let's go home and get something to eat, I'm hungry" said Dunehelm

..Too be continued..

Arrow after arrow were falling and hitting that shield made out of two trees. Kozzak watched at the angry elven warrior, while holding that shield. "You're goin' to die too, elven stranger!" yelled Kozzak as he was holding the shield with angry face. Elven warrior jumped into air, and while falling, he scratched Kozzak's chest. Kozzak dropped the shield on the ground, yelling and screaming in pain. Few arrows stuck into Kozzak's back, few into chest and others were hitting his legs. "Damned elves!" yelled Kozzak as he was falling to the ground. When he fell on the ground, huge dust appeared and nothing could be seen, since he is a large prey.
"It's over", said elven ranger while putting his sword on his back...

At Margoth....
While Dunehelm and Arqis was eating in a Saloon, a guy came, barging the door....

"Sir Dunehelm! Big Insects! Everywhere!" the guy said
"Okay, lad, please calm down so I can understand you" Dunehelm said
"Our village, near the an abandoned mine, was attacked by very big bugs!" the guy replied
"Hmmm...what monstrosity is this" Arqis answered
"Arqis, you are good at solving cases like this, go thereand beat down evil, uh, maybe not, just investigate" Dunehelm ordered

When dust settled, four elven rangers appeared out of nowhere, standing near laying Kozzak. One of them, who looked like commander, ordered others to help Kozzak to stand up, so they could tie him and take him to their encampment. Two of them disappeared in a second, showing themselves on the nearby trees, with eagles on their shoulders. Eagles looked black as night, yet they seemed peacefully somehow. Both elven rangers started singing some strange elven song, and eagles were listening to them. "It is a call for backup, I think..." thought Kozzak as he was laying on the ground. After minute or two, listening to elven songs, eagles flew into air and in seconds they were few kilometers away from that place. "They're fast, and I can't just lay here and wait for even more to come, I have to do something...." mumbled Kozzak, while trying to stand up. Elven rangers noticed that he's moving, and they jumped on his back, standing on him, and disallowing him to stand up. "Damned wretches... Why are ya' doing all this?!" yelled Kozzak. Elves looked at him, and then they looked at their commander who was sitting on nearby tree. "Because that's our mission, huge ogre." answered commander calmly. Kozzak looked at him, with very angry face. "What mission? I am innocent elven stranger!" continued Kozzak yelling. "Even I don't know the reason, but I know that there is high price on your head, ogre. Now stop yelling, nobody will come to help you here, since you're far away from your home." said elven commander, while nodding at Kozzak. Kozzak sighed and then he tried to stand up again, but failed...

At the village which the guy spoke of...
"What a town..." Arqis said while looking on the devastated village

Arqis walked more from his starting point. And he saw a giant insect dead.

"What monstrosity is this!" said Arqis

Them from afar, he saw giant insectoids, they look like in "stampede"
"Oh no." Arqis said while starting to run
On the other side of his position, another insectoid stampede. He was trapped!
"What a wrong timing..." said Arqis
"Hello, young Arqis" said by an Ancient that seems to lead the insectoids
"What do you want on me" shouted Arqis
"Your alliances to us" said the Ancient
"Never!" shouted Arqis as he draw his sword to slash the Ancient but the insectoids protected him
"You can never defeat me, you are obviously outnumbered" said the Ancient
"*gasp* I would rather die in the side of the Empire than your friggin' race!" said Arqis as he charges again.

"Your a fool to trust on the Empire, soon, when Keran gets the Heart of the Void, you puny little races will vanish!" said the Ancient while he fades and the Insectoids burrows on the ground

"What a strange life I have" Arqis said
The he saw a little shiny thing at the position of the Ancient,
"This were dropped by that Ancient, I would report in to Dunehelm"


...2 b continued....

Kozzak already got mad, angry and full of power, with great amount of will to burn and crush those elven rangers, he was constantly trying to stand up. "You're still trying?" asked elven general-ranger who was sitting on one of the nearby trees. Sun was shinning heavily and forest was full of life, both animals and humanoid beings. "Man, cut it already, you're done for." said elven warrior, who was standing on Kozzak's back. Kozzak just looked at him and with angry face, he somehow pushed him from back. It was something with gravity, because that elven warrior just lose ground under his boots, and fell from Kozzak. Kozzak slowly stands up, and picking his weapon from the back, he starts yelling: "You are dead, assholes!!". As soon as elven ranger, who was standing on Kozzak's back, stood up, he got cut on half, by Kozzak's huge sword. Elven general-ranger jumped from the tree, and with making some hand signs, he disappeared. In the air, voice could be heard saying: "I'll be back..."...

On Margoth...

"Hmmm, what could this be?" Dunehelm said
"I just saw that pendant fell from that Ancient" Arqis replied
"We must report it to Alric do Rei in Wermona, he might now what is this" Dunehelm said

The two packed up, and together with 2 swordsman, they started their journey to Wermona.
They first crossed the Western Forests, where they crossed dead bodies of Elves

"Sir, I think there is a battle happened here a little while ago" said the soldier
"Yeah, look at those footprints, It might be an Ogre did this" said Dunehelm

Then, an elf arose.

"Dunehelm, there, somebody is still alive!" said Arqis
"Go fetch him quick, cancel the journey to Wermona, will do that later, for now, we will solve this case. Aid him to Margoth" said Dunehelm

( ( Who could have done this? Lets find out to my next post ) )

As he was walking slowly, with a lot wounds on his chest, back and legs, with large amount of pain, heavy sword on back, Kozzak was mumbling: "Damn those....elves... why have they attacked me...?". As day was passing, Kozzak was moving even slower, and slower, and slower. When almost night fell, he decided to take a rest near nearby tree, and to catch some sleep. As soon as he laid down, he fell asleep. He was sleeping well, there was no any nightmare, like he had in past three days. When he woke up, it was already late morning. However, he wouldn't wake up, if there wasn't couple of birds, singing their songs and yelling all over the forest. Random animals were passing by, on the road that Kozzak made by himself, with his footprints. "Guess it's time to stand up, and continue walking then, eh'?" said Kozzak slowly, and after that, he seen few shadows coming towards him. "What is that?" he mumbled, as he began drawing his sword...

(( Gwafu, since your character is in same forest, I dunno' what was he doing, while Kozzak was sleeping, so he approached him! ))

While walking out of the forest... The party saw an Ogre

"Its him! RUN!!" said the wounded elf

The other guys ran, but Arqis bravely stay

"Hmmm...hey fella, you are heavily wounded" said Arqis

( ( Witch, continue ) )

(( Is that ""Hmmm...hey fella, you are heavily wounded" said Arqis" for Kozzak? ))

Ogre looked at Arqis, with angry face and full of anger. "More of you monsters? Attacking me for no reason! Grwaaaaah!!" yelled Kozzak as he charged towards Arqis. Arqis jumped on nearby tree, and then on the ground, near Kozzak. "Stop it, Ogre. I ain't here to harm you!" said Arqis calmly, while Kozzak didn't listen. Nevertheless, he jumped into air, and smashed the ground near Arqis. Arqis would probably be smashed too, but he dodged that attack...

( ( yes ) )
( ( I won't let you kill MY CHARACTER XD ) )

"Arqis! Come here! Escape!" Dunehelm shouted
"I wont!" Arqis shouted

"Darn you kid!" Dunehelm shouted as he charge to the Ogre, Dunehelm threw sand to the Ogre making him distracted, then Dunehelm knocked Arqis down and fetch him, the party escaped.

At Margoth...

"uhm, where am I? Oh, Dunehelm, nice to see you" said Arqis calmly
Then Dunehelm punched Arqis again ( ( ;C ) )

"WHY THE HECK YOU DID THAT!" Arqis said
"YOU YOUNG FOOL! WHY DID YOU FACE THAT OGRE ALONE!" Dunehelm said
"WHY? ARE YOU AFRAID FOR ME TO DIE? OH COME ON! I'M NOT YOUR SON" Arqis said

Then Arqis kicked Dunehelm in the "guts"

"Awooo" said Dunehelm screaming in pain
"TAKE THAT OLD FOOL!" shouted Arqis

Then soldiers came in to stop the two.

"That's right... Run cowards!" yelled Kozzak, as they were running away from the battlefield. After some time, staring at the party, who was running from the battlefield, he turned around, and with placing his sword on the back, he continued walking. After two more days of walking, he left Western Forests...

( ( Sorry, I was busy the past days ) )

Another day had past, Arqis woke up.
" I wish there would be no troubles this time " said Arqis

then Dunehelm knocked in saying
"Arqis! Pack up now, we will continue are journey to Wermona! "
"*groan*" said Arqis

Sset, an ancient name, given in ancient times, only to those rare few, propocised for great power. But with that power, comes great responsiblity, and great, great tragedy, for it is the fate of heroes and their ilk to die fighting for their cause. So it was on the thirteenth birthday, of Sset, that his life, and his great legacy, really began!

Sset woke up in a rough cot, like he did every night. There was a beast who sat guard in his room, and he noticed as Sset woke. he immediatly grabed him by the rist and yaked him out of bed. Get up Sset! time to show the Commader what you have leared scince we last saw him! He Dragged Sseet out and towards a large tent...

After 2 days of journey to Wermona.....
"(sound of sooting air)Ahhh... fresh, Wermona air" said Dunehelm
"Hmm, so, where is the Obsidian Tower you were talking about" Arqis said
"Can't you just see that tower?" Dunehelm said
"Oh..." Arqis said

The team hired a room in the inn to rest.

While sleeping, Arqis had a dream again, this one isn't a dream, it is also not a nightmare, something like a....vision.
